I apologize for generating this really long, but I want to describe myself. If you can spare a couple of minutes to read via all of this and give me your sincere opinion, I would value it.

I?m at present a high college senior, but at my school, I have the choice of taking calculus as an extension program from a nearby university. I already took one particular quarter of calculus, and I am signed up to take the next quarter (calculus II). Even so, I?m so stressed that I?m contemplating of dropping it. Because this is a college program, I?m not required to take it to graduate higher college. It is a big benefit to take the course for numerous factors: it is less costly to take it now I?ve just finished the first quarter, so almost everything is nonetheless fresh in my thoughts I won?t have to take it in university, so I will have a lighter class load if I don?t take it now, I even now have to take it in college and my class only has 14 folks in it.

The purpose why I never want to take it now is tension. If I took calculus, I would be taking eight classes.

Physics (Technically I could drop the 2nd semester, but I?ve already completed the first semester, and it would appear negative to colleges)

I?m also involved in two clubs, student government, and volunteer function. I also have a paid occupation as a TA for an elementary college teacher. I suppose I could be significantly less involved with my extracurriculars, but individuals activities are the highlight of my day.

Due to scheduling conflicts and other troubles with my school (by the way, I go to a personal school), I am unable to take Spanish at college (In simple fact, foreign languages are not essential at my school. I didn?t even know that some colleges essential foreign language right up until final year). I?m taking this course via correspondence to fulfill school requirements. I enrolled in August when school started, but then I started out focusing on SATs and university programs. I haven?t even looked at my textbook but. I?ve already forgotten most of what I learned in Spanish I, so I possibly have to review it. I also have to finish this course by the middle of Could, so I am cramming a complete 12 months course into much less than five months. I admit it: it was stupid of me to put this off.

Anyways, I?m leaning towards dropping calculus. I do not assume I can handle the anxiety. I got about 3 hrs of rest a night last semester, which produced me a zombie in class, and everyone noticed, including my teachers. On the other hand, I truly feel like I am passing up a wonderful possibility. I?ve worked so challenging to get to this point I do not want to give up.

I have until Friday to choose no matter whether or not I will take calculus. I?ve talked to my mothers and fathers, friends, and teachers about this, and I?ve gotten mixed solutions. I?m possessing such a hard time deciding.

That sounds a lot like me! lol I have 7 classes + two sports activities + 2 clubs. 1 of my courses is AP Calculus, a quite demanding class as effectively and I wished to drop it as properly for your very very same good reasons (we fundamentally have the identical reasons!).
