The last couple of days have been rough for me. I can?t seem to get myself to get anything done. My motivation is waning. I have things going on in my personal life that are overwhelming me emotionally and I find myself sort of stuck.
Almost every day I get an email newsletter from, ?Marc and Angel Hack Life?, with a bunch of inspirational and motivational sayings, and I am always inspired by their stuff. I find it quite amazing that they are able to lift me up consistently day after day. I think it is my favorite blog to read.
I email the post each day to my wife and son. We have all been going through a rough emotional time for quite a while. I hope they are able to take the good advice to heart. No one can doubt the truths that are contained in these posts. They are fundamentally true and valuable.
The difficulty is being able to take action in your life when you are overwhelmed by negativity and adversity. Sometimes you know what you are supposed to do, but it is extremely difficult to get yourself to do it. Depression and negative thoughts and behavior are difficult to overcome. Though from my own personal experience, I have found that taking the first step is always the hardest.
For me one of the things I need to be doing right now is blogging consistently. But when I am overwhelmed by the difficulties that inevitably arise in my life; I fall into a pattern of procrastination and inaction. That is kind of where I am right now. So when I woke up this morning and went through my email, I went to the Marc and Angel message for inspiration. I read it and immediately opened a word document and began writing this post.
Taking Action
I am taking an action right now despite that part of me that wants to crawl back into bed and wallow in my misery. I am going to condition my mind with positive and uplifting thoughts. I am going to force the negativity out of my mind and focus on moving forward and being positive. I am going to do the things that I need to do to achieve the goals I have set for myself. I am capable and determined and resilient.
I am committed to building my home based business of internet marketing and providing value to other small businesses through my blogging. I know that this requires patience and consistency and a willingness to always try to keep learning my craft each day.
When times are tough and I get overwhelmed by my personal issues it becomes difficult to focus on what I need to do. But I?m not letting the negativity in my life stop me from moving forward. I continue with my plan of daily education to build my knowledge base. I continue with my commitment to blog consistently. I know the more I do it, the better I will become at it.
Sharing My Experience in My Home Based Business
I know that the knowledge I am acquiring is going to pay off for me in the long run. That as I learn the nuances about running a small home based business and the ins and outs of internet marketing, I will be able to share this information with you, the people that read this blog.
These are tough time here in the United States. Unemployment remains very high and well-paying jobs are hard to come by. More and more people are going to be seeking to start either part-time or full-time home-based businesses, and will be seeking out advice and instruction on how to be successful at it. So my commitment is to assist those people as they begin their own journeys of entrepreneurship; just as I am on a journey toward a goal of building a successful online business.
Today I am talking a lot about myself and know that the focus of my blog needs to be more focused on providing value and benefits to you the reader. I am hoping that by sharing what I am experiencing, you will identify with some of my pain points and will see that you can benefit from the lessons I am learning. I promise not to be so self-focused in the future.
The goal of this blog is to provide useful information to the small and home based business owner that will help you succeed and thrive in your efforts to build your business. I want to share with you the things I am learning and make your road to success easier.
Please help me in my efforts with comments, suggestions and questions about the issues you are facing.
